MAKIN’ SENSE WHEN IT DOESN’T MAKE DOLLARS
It’s been three months since I first started the Spiritual Minded site. Basically to say it was done low budget is an understatement. Try no budget, just a lot of time, effort, faith and lots of prayer! The human part of me wants to look at all I don’t have yet. But I had to stop look and listen and see all the incredible things that have happened in these three months.
A moment of clarity, a time of reflection. I had to go back and read the older devotions I have written in the first book and the daily devotion blog. I had to remember that even God took a break when creating the world. At the end of every day, he stopped and looked over what he did that day and said it was good. He didn’t complain about what he hadn’t accomplished yet, but looked over what he had done that day and said IT IS GOOD!
We must get past the point where when we don’t see the dollars in what we are doin’ we realize it still make sense! Once you get to that point you can stop and pray and give thanx to God for what he has already done in your life. He won’t bless you with what you need to get to the next level if you can’t appreciate what He has done for you already.
So now I am on a long road, I have traveled along way, I can’t see what it ahead of me but I have God as my GPS guiding me. I know I am on the right road but I had to now stop and look what I have done. What God has done thru me. See the two steps of footprints of Jesus Walking with me.
Today I take that moment to reflect, to praise God to give thanx and appreciate all that has gone down in the past three months, the release of the new book, the people from all over the word who have been drawn to the site. God blessing me with a new supportive woman in my life.
And realize it does Makes Sense even If it doesn’t yet Make Dollars!
