In the heart of Brooklyn on Saturday, July 26th 2008, O2 Praise promises to bring young people in numbers for a night of praise, positive thinking (workshops) and prayer. Performances will range from dramatic skits, "praise"-stepping, reggae, hip hop, worship and refreshments on site. "Hip-Hop has had a history of community empowerment and creating music and poetry reflective of everyday life in our neighborhoods. Modern-day Hip-Hop has emerged into the endorsement of violence and glam by any means necessary. Urban youth are impressionable and most influenced by the music and culture of today's Hip Hop which goes beyond the studio, but into film, sports, business/marketing and education.
